Nichols Fire offers many services to our residents and visitors. We are always looking to provide more but we currently offer:

FIRE PROTECTION AND RESCUE SERVICES

Nichols Fire responds to all fire incidents within in our district. We provide fire suppression, vehicle extrication, technical rescue and hazardous materials response.

FIRE PREVENTION AND EDUCATION 

Nichols Fire is committed to stop fires, all together! We know that is not a possibility, so until then, we strive to educate our citizens in how to prevent fires and what to do in case of one. 

FIRST RESPONDER EMS RESPONSE

Ever wonder why a firetruck responds when you call for an ambulance? Here at Nichols Fire, we have firefighters who are trained EMT's, AEMT’s and Paramedics. Those members and others are trained in Basic and Advanced Life Support. We respond to assist BCEMS, when requested on Medical Calls in Nichols. We sometimes are closer than the ambulance and can begin life saving measures. These can include, patient assessment, administration of life saving medications, first aid and trauma care and cardiac care/CPR. Are members regularly attend Continuing Education (CE) training and work to stay updated on the newest developments in EMS care.
