Nichols Fire District is located south of the Louisville Metropolitan/Jefferson County border, on the KY Hwy 44 W corridor and just west of KY 61 in Bullitt County. We are responsible for the safety, well-being and fire protection of our citizens and visitors of portions of West Point, KY and western portions of Shepherdsville, KY city limits, unincorporated areas of Bullitt County , in an area locally known as Nichols. We are an "all-hazards", combination agency. We are comprised of part-time and volunteer Firefighters, Firefighter/EMT's, AEMT's and Paramedics!
